I love breaking out the Ancient military bang sticks. Bulgarian captured Mosin M91 from 1916. The rear sight is graduted in Arshins. ARSHINS!!!!

Do you use milsurp ammo, and what kind? I am very possibly going to be buying a buddy's hex-receiver Mosin, but he said the accuracy at 100 yards is crap. Nah... they are pretty Gentle. I can shoot these with surplus all day long., seeing as they have a 12ft barrel. The M44s have a bit more punch.

My buddy brought his .375 H&H Magnum. That thing gets 300gr Boolits moving 2,700 ft/sec.... or even punchier yet, a 235gr boolit moving an astonishing 3...

I usually just buy the Czech Heavy Ball or whatever spam cans UI can get a hold of and can hit a 6" gong at 200 yds (with some of my mosins... not all), but any milsurp will work. Depending on any number of factors, ammo included, you can expect anywhere from MOA to a 10 inch group at 1...

I shoot that Bulgarian 147gr through my stuff. All the surplus ammo for the russian rimmed will be corrosive. So you have to clean after shooting every time. As far as accuracy, that will depend on the barrel and the crown of the rifle you got. If you are hitting a paper plate every time at 100 yard...
