Finnegan 8 Year Single Malt for me at the moment. This is a fantastic Irish single malt from Total Wines for under $40. It could easily sell for double that price!

Enjoying a Glenlivet 12 and an Oliva g
This weekend I was able to try a couple new to me spirits.

The first one was redbreast 12yr. I got this bottle from a friend of mine as a belated birthday present. I'm usually not a whiskey drinker but this is very good. To me it had a little spice and was very smooth. I was very happy with his choice.

The second was a bottle of grangestone 18yr. From what I was told was this scotch was made for total wines exclusively. It was $59.99 for a 750 so I wasn't sure what to expect. This is some really good scotch. It was sweeter than what I usually like and there was little to no peat flavor at all. Being that it was different than what I usually drink it was a very good change. I would recommend you to get a bottle if you have a total wines and more near you.
A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his/her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. Proud to have served 1988-2000 U.S. Army!!

My beer stash is a little low and it's been a hell of a week (48 1/2 hours in the past 4 days) so I'm having a White Russian.

I've been making them with Ciroc lately, but tonight I'm trying Fris. Not a significant difference really, but I think I'll stick with Grey Goose for my martinis.
